I THOUGHT I REMEMBER READING SOMEWHERE THAT YOU HAD A PTO ON YOUR TRANSFER CASE. JUST WONDERING WHAT THE PLANS ARE FOR IT. IS IT A NP205? I AM IN CONTACT WITH A GUY WHO HAS PTO'S FOR 205'S, AND PTO'S FOR THE TRANSMISSIONS (465) WHAT IN THE WORLD WOULD I DO WITH IT BESIDES PTO DRIVEN WINCH. I LIKE THE OLD UNIQUE TOUGH STUFF THEY USED TO PUT ON OUR 4X4'S. I GUESS I COULD PUT A HYDRAULIC PUMP AND TANK UNDER THE BED SIDE???? pTO OUT THE FRONT OR BACK TO RUN A GRAIN AUGER.

Does he want to sell a PTO for the 465 tranny? If so, how much? I have no idea what you'd do with one, but until I get one, there's not much to worry about...

My truck has the Rockwell T221 transfer case and it has a PTO output that you can access if you were to remove a cone shaped cover. I don't have any equipment that would use the PTO output however.

yeah, thanks yukon, didnt mean to sound like i wanted to buy it from you. talkin with a guy who has a couple 205's, and he asked me if i wanted a pto output on it. i guess i could put a hydraulic pump under the bedside with a resevoir and plumb the lines to the back. i would need a manual throttle, but guess i could finally get that dump trailer ive been wanting!
