Has anyone else had this problem? I can try and get a new cap but I don’t know what part to buy. Im also concerned maybe they built the tank wrong. I don’t want to put any gas in it until I get the cap situation worked out.
My tank is distributed by Dorman. I too had the same gas cap problem. Call whoever made your tank (I should say distributed) and ask them the Stant cap you should use. Mine ended up a Stant 10704. Original wouldn't fit.
