GM Parts Wiki shows this p/n replaced p/n 6299610. In the June 1971 Truck Parts Book, it lists 1970 Series 10 thru 30 (Fleetside), and 1970 Blazer. I would say this is for a SWB but I could be wrong.

Thanks for the info, I wouldn't think it would be specific to 1970? Also were there any c30 shortbeds?

The center hardness is the difference between short and long bed. The taillight hardness is the same for short and long bed.
