Re: 67 (Crew Cab) C30
Yeah I know
I have been helping other people with there projects. I have rebuilt a Golf Cart and a Lot of other Crazy stuff. That was Pretty Funny Quote:
Yeah I would like that. //////////////////////////////////// Okay here is the spill. I have had a lot of Overtime at work. Which means Money to work on the truck. The big machine I run at work went (Down) awhile ago. So I have had to acommadate the big work on a Smaller machice which takes more time. Now my Big machine is almost up and running. It will be set up on the Cen troid system. So I have to learn the New system Just Kidding , I think it is better than what I was using. And other side projects that I have had Golf carts and lawnmowers and Tractors and I have been juggling a lot like most of us do. I have a tried to keep this thread, On point of truck building, Except for my Helper (My Golden Retriever) I have been playing around with a small 3D printer. I have also been studying the Arduino stuff. I can't stop One project leads to another. And then I add to that This is the way I roll. It's all good. I just keep trying to move forward. So hopefully I can get Back to this project.

I am amazed at the amount of though and engineering you have put into this project. I feel so lame in my capabilities just doing a 'simple' restoration compared to your efforts.
Keep up the good work and the rest of us will sit back and aspire to be at your level while we work out projects! |

Re: 67 (Crew Cab) C30
I will try to find the pictures of my last progress and post them.
This project got pushed to the back burner. With tractors, a Lathe project, golf carts and a house project or 2. The next thing I knew it fell off the stove. I hope to get this project back on the burner this spring.

Re: 67 (Crew Cab) C30
When I retired 2 years ago (3?) I did so many things my wife wanted done that she ran out of projects (not an easy task!). Since November '23 it's been all about me!
Nice work on the truck, it's above my ability! Rg

Your wife ran out of projects? Good for you. Well I have all the golf cart stuff done/gone. My lathe project multiplied into 2. I am coming along on that though. I got both House projects done. Then wife adds a Kitchen project. I am also retrofitting a CNC mill at the garage at Momma's house. About the Truck, I have worked on the door hinges and the bedside toolbox. I have collected all major parts I need. It is just that this project is always the first one to get pushed back. Family comes first ,I have also had a few of those issues. Even if it's just a few things ,I have made some progress on the truck.
