What shift lever is this, and which one DO I need?
I bought a chrome CPP tilt column...great.
I don't like the shift lever, as its too long, and hits the steering wheel whenever I go from park to drive, etc I got the idea of changing the shift lever after watching the video on their channel, and for the same reason, they just swapped it out... So I bought a billet lever, but its not even close to what is used with the CPP column. (I bought it from LMC) Says it for the 67-72 trucks. Anyone know who makes a billet shifter, like the style in my pictures...that will work with the column I have?

The one with a ball on the end looks to be for a Non tilt. The other appears correct for a tilt

Re: What shift lever is this, and which one DO I need?
Just pulled the shifter out of my stock column.
It's the same as the shift lever from LMC. CPP must make their own billet shift lever for THEIR column....

Re: What shift lever is this, and which one DO I need?
just like their steering boxes , apparently the only thing that works is what they have made. we had a customer nearly get killed because their steering box would randomly lock when trying to turn and we couldn't use it for a core when we replaced it, nothing inside it is the same as OEM. personally I would never use their products. just my opinion.

Re: What shift lever is this, and which one DO I need?
Sent an email to LMC today about it.
They replied that they don’t sell a billet lever like this one for a tilt column, and don’t offer the end piece for a tilt column either. May just make one myself.

Re: What shift lever is this, and which one DO I need?
Well it got on my nerves a bit...so I cut the tilt shift lever off, and made it work with the new billet shift lever.
It’s too close to the wheel in the fully up position of the wheel, but I never have it in that position. I’ll clean it up, and polish it before I call it done.

That tilt lever end looks like a GM tilt end.
The van tilts usually had a short arm. I have one in my stash, PM me if you're interested.
