It's been awhile since I've been back to check out this thread. You've made a lot of progress. I was thinking, this guy responds to every comment, why not mine? I went back and looked at it and maybe it wasn't clear. The shrapnel I referred to was this picture. And back aways you had mentioned you had been driving it but you never talked about what it was like to drive. So that was the nature of the question about that.

Thanks for checking back in. Yes, there have been a few piles of shrapnel while doing the rebuild. I have driven the truck but on small test drives checking how it runs, stops and looking for leaks, and damn the transmission pan has a drip.

Just a little body work getting done. I'm starting to understand the cost of my body/paint quotes.

Working on the doors repairing the skins and the screw holes.

Getting close with the bodywork and the primer is on repairs. I put the oil fill tube on and that was more fun than bodywork.

Next time I take it all apart it will be for final primer and paint.
