+
$20 per tire for mounting/balancing($80)

discount tire is where i would order the tires from.

it was actually hibdon tire center that would mount them.

a lot of places i went to said they wouldnt mount them unless i bought them at their store

Looks like you're buying two tires and mounting 4? Why is that? What kind of tires are we talking here anyhow?

I pay 10 bucks a tire for mounting and balancing just about anywhere I go around here, thats for a 15" rim, bigger wheel mounting price goes up.

Friend of mine owns a local tire shop Mounting and balancing tires is something that can easily be screwed to hell by an inexpeirenced person .

He charges 10 to mount and balance W New Stem.

Does good But alot of places like discount hire people without any prior exp. Some of my friends have worked there. And they marr wheels up and dont place the weights on the right spot of the wheel .

You might look into the little guy tire shops Because alot of times there cheaper Prices and better qaulity labor . Some Cases Same Quality Tire as Wal Mart And Discount But Cheaper And Free Mount & Balance And Better Exp.

I can get any conventional automotive tire mounted and balanced (with new stem) for $8.00 each. That is the most expensive (but also the best) place in this city. That's also if it isn't their tires. They mount and balance their own tires for free. $20.00 per tire is a serious rip-off, but I've heard of places that charge up to $32.00 (!!!!).

I borrowed money from my dad when I bought my 33x12.5" tires, they were 120 apeice and cost me nothing to mount and balance since I bought them at the same place which happens to be a Mock tire and their a big local business, not one of those chains but they have more than one shop.

They do charge over 10 bucks a tire if the wheels are bigger than 15", I think its like 18 bucks a tire/wheel for 18" wheels and it goes up, but I don't think they have the equipment to mount anything bigger than 20" and 20" will cost you some bucks, the machines to mount tires on the larger wheels is more costly than for smaller wheels like 16" and down.
