Question About Rear Leaf Springs

Other than the full-length overload leaf on the top of the pack, is there any difference between the 2 1/2" wide leaves from a C-30 to a C-20?
Thanx.

as far as i know the only difference is the # of leaves. c-30's usually will have more. hope that helps a little.

I thought so. I am going to count the # on my truck and the # of the C-30 in the local wrecking yard and see. Of course, I have Firestone air bags so adding another leaf isn't really going to do squat but at least I will know.
Thanx

bee let me know if some pics would help you. my 67 c-30 is almost completly disassembled but i have not got to the rear leaf suspension so the pics would be very clear. i can also measure the width for you and count them. mine does have the auxilliary leaf option as well. let me know and when i get home tomorrow from work i'll get the digital camera out a snap some pics & post them.

Dude,..that would be great! I counted 7 leaves on mine. I have the Dana "60" rear and the big "U" bolts over the spring packs so it might be the same. This did come originally with the camper pkg. so maybe I have the same springs.
Thanx!
