I sent the MO last night, so I hope to get the book by the first of the week or so. I know that GM will send the resto packs no charge, but I have not took the time to order one.
The two pic's I attached were the only ones on the ebay site but he had a parts exchange, A-manual for the trucks and some other car manuals from the 70's, so I took a chance that this was something diferent. I'll take a few pic's when I get it and then maybe CPNE or some one will know if it is the resto pack or not and go from there on the Copies.

The description and pics make it appear to be a resto pack, and I was addressing your question. Even if it is, avoiding the hassle with GM's 800 # is worth the 10 bucks spent.

GM offers a free restoration pack for your truck. You get specs and info on the trucks produced for that year, also restoration parts suppliers list.
You have to get the VIN# for your truck and call them with that # and they mail out a packet to you. This also works with most any Chevrolet truck or car you may restore.. Chevrolet Phone # 1-800-222-1020

Great Service...?
Y'all may get a kick out of this one. I called up and did the wait thing to get a couple of these packets for the boys. The girl who took my call was real friendly, but pretty new, I found out. I had to explain what the packets were, and she went off to ask someone about them and came back all excited, etc..."Sir, I can send these to you FREE!" So she asks for the information about the trucks.
1st Truck Year? 1969 1st Truck Model? C10 2nd Truck Year? 1970 2nd Truck Model? C10 "Ok," says she, "I think that's all I need." I told her I had the VIN's, too, so she went and asked someone again, then copied them down. So we wrapped up the call with a "Have a nice day". Very courteous, helpful. So 30 minutes later, she calls me back, saying that the closest thing she can find to my truck model is an S10, but they didn't make those until the 80's. The only truck model she can find for those years is a CK. So I chuckle to myself and explain the whole deal, 2/4WD, 1/2-3/4-1 ton, etc. After a few different ways of explaining it, I think she got it. "Wow, sir, you really know a lot about these trucks. They were made before I was born, so I guess I've got some learning to do." Anyway, she's sending them, apologized that it may take 4-6 weeks for them to arrive. Maybe the next time she'll know a little more about her company's products (and history). Then again, maybe not... :p Moral of the story: Sometimes it doesn't take much to be an expert. SSOW...

Haha, I called that number and kept getting the Chevy roadside assistance operator. Got transferred back to Chevy customer assistance but got back to the same roadside assistance. The last guy took my info and was going to transfer me over again, but the phone went off after ten minutes. Have to try again. Got back to the same roadside assistance, this time the guy said I'd have to call my local Chevy dealer. Oh well.
