need tailgate 73-80
I need a tailgate for a 1975 blazer. It really doenst matter at this point if the tailgate was for a truck or a blazer because i am planning on putting a soft top on it, so i wnt need the glass. !973 to 1980 should fit i am told if any one can help find a decent one that is not rusted all to sh*t i would greatly appreciate it. I am located in South carolina, but will pay for shipping if the price is right.

I have a tailgate from a '75 Blazer. During the restoration of my truck I upgraded to a power windowed gate. It's in good (not great) shape. There are a few pin holes in the bottom of the gate that I have POR25 filled. and there was some body filler that I exposed right in the middle of the gate, but the dent does not show when looking at the metal from inside the gate, so it may just have been used for flattening.
Otherwise it is straight and closed perfectly, with nice lines against the fenders when closed. Would have been fine for my resto. if I hadn't have upgraded to power window. You can see pics of the tailgate before it was removed on Page 5 of my cardomain website. Here's a few more pics since I took it off. $75 for the gate plus shipping. $25 for brand new LMC 36-6678 handle
