I thought you might find this interesting. The following paint chip sheet has samples for both the Aniversary Gold and the Saddle paint. If you look closely at the last 2 chips in the last row you will see there is a slight difference in the colors. I know we were disscussing this a little while back.

Off topic, but is there any way you can get a clearer picture of that? I cannot quite read the numbers for each color. This is of some interest to me.

68 BURB 50TH LOOKALIKE work in progress, soon to have 250-I6 with a 3-speed on the tree 4.11's and posi ( currently sitting in back yard tarped awaiting time, $$$, and lots of love!)

67 1 TON- work truck 396 sm 420 4-speed, flat bed 4.57 gears "big red" (my first landscape truck, very rusty and crusty! but still gets the job done when needed!)

That's pretty cool. I didn't know they called 551 "Anniversary Gold".

What does Irid stand for on some of the colors? Iridescent? Like a metallic paint?

I need to thank the great seller on ebay that sold this paint sheet with in 2 hours with buy it now. He was kind enough to scan it for me so I could get the paint codes. Very nice guy!

wow there is so little difference it's not even funny! I think your right, I think irid in metalic. Atleast my saddle looks metalic!
