I am accualy looking for the discontinued part called the Gear Indicator has the orange pointer and goes from left to right starting "P" "R" "N" "D" "2" "1" ... it's the exact one in the pic I will include, but this guy hasn't responded in a week to my many e-mails...

http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/temp/elecsilvgage.jpg

Thanks for any help, I am willing to go as high as 25.00 for the part, and as high as 60.00 for the hole dash if nessasary...

Thanks
Matt

Mark25:

I have one of those shift indicators that I will be willing to sell.

It has the 2nd. square D for the overdrive position. Make me an
offer.

I have him covered on the gear indicator guys.

Matt as for your emblems. GM part number 14051861 for the SIERRA CLASSIC 1500 fender emblems. Gm dealers still carry a lot of this stuff for 81-87's . lemme know how you make out on that .

On the METAL cowl hood try. GMC Paul at http://www.gmcpaulstruckparts.com/ or Matt Dingman at
webmaster@73-87chevytrucks.com <webmaster@73-87chevytrucks.com> and both are good people to dea with and tell them crossy sent you.
On the tank switching it sounds if as your dash switch is going bad . thats the first thing that happens to them. the second is the switching valve under the cab.
I think I have a good switch around or I can check on new for you. but because you are troubleshooting it may be best to just try used parts. DAVE

Wink

Thx, I have already contacted both, and are currently speaking with them, I already have a hood on the way, (just ordered) now looking for the phantom grill, so far 200.00 is the best I have found... looking for maybe on in the 100.00 - 150.00?? hmm, and about the switch, the funny thing is, it works great when both tanks have around the same amount of fuel in them, but if one is almost empty and the other is full, it takes (if it switchs over) about 3 hours of playing with it to get it to go... e-mail me and let me know if u have the valve, I thing thats the problem...
