has anybody used the power disc brake conversion kit from early classic? if so is it a quality kit? or is there a cheper alternative other than taking chances on bone yard stuff?

cheapest way is to get the whole assembly from rotor to rotor off a 71-81 pickup (up untill they went to metric) the kits for these trucks are basicly drop spindles that are made to use the rotors calipars etc from these newer trucks

Beware
You can get all of the parts you need from a salvage yard, but watch the spindles. there are two different types. If you get them from a 72 model they are a perfect fit, but if they are like 77 and later make sure the rotors are 1-1/4 inch wide as they are the right spindles.
