Earlier I wrote: "255-70x15 tires on 8" rally wheels from a square body truck barely rubbed the bolts holding my inner fenders to the outers."

My truck does have 85 spindles. I wonder if they position the wheel outboard just a little further? It's not much, because button head bolts fixed the problem! Tires are Cooper Cobras, which may be a shade wider or taller than BFG Radial T/As.

Cooper Cobras are generally a tad narrower than BFG T/As from my experience

Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming. Retired as a factory automation products salesman. Worked part-time over the years for an engine builder and a classic car repair shop. Member here for 24 years! This is the very first car/truck Internet forum I joined.
