72 C10 seat cover install question.

I have a seat cover from Distintive ind, I got threw CJ Pony parts. I'ts a stock style vinyl cover. The orig, foam is in great condition and I reused it. The problem is the cover is not even close to fitting. After compressing the springs with my weight I was able to hog ring the front to the seat base but now the rear of the cover is 4 to 5 inches short! I am doughtfull heating the cover will let it streatch enough to fit. Any ideas? I emailed CJ but have got no reply yet. Its a 72 C10 custom bace model.

Re: 72 C10 seat cover install question.

When I put the new cover on my truck, it took three of us holding it down to compress the foam. I also used new foam. We total out over 600 pounds for the three of us. I was certain that the seat cover was going to tear apart before we got all the hog rings in.
