electrical connector under dash identification
I have a 1984 cucv / k30 military truck, bought as a roller project. Using the original dash wiring harness, I cant track down this connector under the dash on any diagrams.
The orange wire is hot at all times, the black / white stripe is just loose cut off. Any idea what is for and where is goes. |

Re: electrical connector under dash identification
That looks like a connector in the courtesy/dome light circuit. GM used it for many years on cars and trucks. The black/white or sometimes white only wire would go to the door pins and headlight switch.

Re: electrical connector under dash identification
It matches the colors for the courtesy lights. I believe Richard is correct.
