Question Radiator Overflow Kit???

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on installing a overflow kit on my 67 307? It runs hot here in the Ga heat after a few days of the coolant overflowing out the stock drain tube.

I messed around this weekend a bit and made this setup. Tacked a couple of washer bottle brackets to a approx 2"x12" strip of sheet metal then tacked that to the original (67) mounting bracket on the radiator core support. Havent actually hooked it up yet, but it looks pretty good in there.
