Welcome Aboard! Back in the day, my dad had a 3/4 ton, 292, 4x4. No idea if it had power steering. We lived in Sandpoint then and he was a logger so when he traded it in, around 1975 it had close to 150k on it. Later in life he would comment on how it was one of his favorite trucks.
I haven't been through Porthill since the 70's. We had a great uncle who still lived on the family's 180 acre homestead east of Moyie Springs. Please forgive the highjack. Your thread but it brought back some memories. Good luck with the project. And we would love to see photos and a thread on it.
