I love the sliding glass back window in these trucks.

Is it still in good shape?

I remember him swapping it out for a newer style with the tinted glass. Should have kept that one, but at the time, the handles would pull off and I think it leaked. It had those big grab handles and aluminum frames. Was it a dealer installed thing? Or did these trucks come from the factory with that window?

I do not think they came factory with a sliding rear window.

I noticed the window right off in the picture.

Because that was 1 of the first things my Daddy would install in a new truck.

It had to have a sliding glass window. cloth seat and a CB radio.

Some good info:

https://www.gm.com/content/dam/compa...olet-Truck.pdf

The A28 rear sliding window was an option in 1971 and 1972.

Yeah sadly he took em out after he bought it not knowing how rare they are. Yeah, it's quite the full spid, Custom Camper 10's are apparently not all that common? Has leaf spring rear as well. There's a few things not on the glovebox list that appear to be stock, did they run out of room for RPO codes? Things I see missing are the cargo light (but I think that was included with the CST package?) the tachometer isn't listed, but it's all factory appearing with the grommet and all, the glovebox light, passenger vanity mirror, telescopic antenna, and high/low note horn
