Pictures of sliding side window latch mechanism?

I have decided that I am going to sell the set that I have but I am hoping to get some pictures of the original latching mechanisms so I can try and come up with something that will work for whomever buys them. Mine are missing altogether so any pictures would be appreciated.

I honestly don't know the difference . I spend most of my time in the square body section

Re: Pictures of sliding side window latch mechanism?

I have some double pane. I believe they are similar to the rear window on the trucks. I’ll try to get a picture tomorrow.

Awesome! It does look a lot like a pick up latch. Mine is actually single pane.

Re: Pictures of sliding side window latch mechanism?

I wouldn’t mind having a single pane set. The set I have are nos. Some day I’ll get a chance to install them. When you do sell your set let me know.

Re: Pictures of sliding side window latch mechanism?

I don’t have a photo off hand but if I recall the single pane examples used a spring loaded latch that was held in place with double stick tape and would grab the metal upright on the fixed pane. Latch and pull.

I am just trying to figure it out as I think there must be something on early motorhomes or conversion vans that would work

Contact Mark at Motor City K5 - just a guess but maybe he would have a source.

Mine don't have a vertical bar or anything on them That's why I'm trying to figure out what it's supposed to look like

They should have a vertical bar. Here are photos of mine. You can see where the handle goes glued to glass. Name: 95B565FC-6F59-4CC0-A8F8-ADA2FD47AEFA.jpg

Thank you! That was exactly the photo I was looking for! It explains why they're so hard to find especially here in AZ being that They are glued to the glass our heat cooks everything

Not sure if you can find that specific latch but Dorman makes this one below.

I am trying to do something with these windows. Haven't had much luck finding that latch in stock anywhere.
