If not flat it won't fit properly. Also as someone on the forum stated on the 72 there is a screw on the door under the wing window. You need to slightly loosen the screw to slide in the outer piece. No matter what you do they are still a real booger to install. You'll be shaking by the time you're through. The screw I mentioned is in your first photo. It's in the indentation on the door below the wing.

Howzzzit, I'm guessing this is the Precision set you were referring to? I'll have to grab a set of these and get to work.
