Re: Friends truck
Your Buddy has a real nice ride there Leon with cruise control to boot!
This brings up a question since I don't see it listed on the SPID and me not knowing. Was cruise control added at the dealer? I have only seen one truck personally with cruise control, and the owner said he got it off a car (same era) in the wrecking yard but it was the same basic unit. |

Re: Friends truck
Regarding cruise control. I had a 71 Super with cruise and it wasnt listed on the spid but it was defiantly a factory cruise, it had the dash switch etc. I started a thread about it ages ago and here is the answer about listed on spid vs not listed. So mine was dealer installed.
JQ-72 In 68-70, "Speed & Cruise Control" was listed on the SPID as RPO K30. In 71-72, cruise control was only available through the dealership and was not listed on the SPID.

Judging by the rearview mirror cover and the perforated headliner i would say an early 69 model. It is also missing the cargo light which was also an early 69 CST thing.
