Before and after

I haven’t worked on my truck in about 4 years. I’ve been busy messing with my Chevelle. I thought it was time to give the truck some love for a while.

Before and after.

Not me, my grandfather flew P-51s in WW2 and my son is working towards being a pilot in the AIR FORCE with his commissioning next summer.

It’s a Cheyenne so it already has the wood trim side moulding. They are still original to the truck and it pretty good condition. I’ll probably leave them as is as it matches the rest of the unrestored truck. (Minus the new paneling on the tailgate.

Well we didn't see the sides, so I had no idea.

Legitimate question for sure, I hope my message didn’t come across snarky.

Here is a side photo.

No, we're cool. This has always been a friendly and polite Board.

I took the side moldimg off my '71 GMC Jimmy. One of the very short pieces was always ''spinning'' and it bugged me. I also swapped out the DeLuxe marker lite lenses for Standards. They have a brighter image at night. Also the Jimmy looked better when parked next to my '68 C/10 Stepside [which has no molding.]
