Roll-Up Windows in '03 Tahoe

Has anyone converted their Electric Windows to a manual crank up system? Were trucks with manual windows as an option in this series?
Can the retrofit be done?
Just tired of expensive sketchy systems. If it isn't the 200 buck 8-Button master drivers door switch, now I've got DRIVERS DOOR AJAR glitches in the door latch guts.
Summer's too hot to drive this truck with a shot A/C and untrustworthy electric windows. They might go down, but get balky at closing when I'm at my destination and need to secure.
Driving my '68 Stepside and '71 Jimmy, so I can crank back the wing window and get system 240 Air.
