Has anyone relocated the shocks on the lowered trucks?

I've considered making a lower plate on the rear leaf springs with a shock mount integrated. I've seen tons of plates out there like that but I was curious if that was done. I've noticed on my 65 once I moved the shocks to a more up right position and behind the rear end the ride is 10x better. Not that the ride is terrible but always looking for improvements.
