Engine rebuilder in DFW needed

Looking for recomendations for an engine rebuilder in Ft Worth area. I have a friend who needs an engine rebuilt in an 84 Chevy truck. I just don't have the time or space and I'm helping her out. Thanks.

I've put a in a bunch of City Motors engines out of Dallas. They use name brand parts and the price is fair.

Yeah, prices are fairly reasonable for the quality. That's where I got my 350 4 bolt.

Thanks for the replies. I'm basically looking for a shop I can send her to. I just don't have the time or space here at the moment to do it for her. I'd rather find a decent shop to send her to rather than send her out to get ripped off because she's a woman and has no clue about mechanical type things. Thanks again for any help.

Last time I used City Motor Supply, They would only take cash, like in dead presidents.
I think a lot of shops claim to rebuild short blocks and such then they just send them out to City Motor Supply.
They are extremely fast but you might want to mark your parts to ensure that you get yours back if it makes a difference to you.
