Anybody running a tonneau on the blazer/jimmy?

I am looking at purchasing a tonneau for the blazer, and specifically this one:

I really like the look of it, and want a tonneau cause I hate running with the top on. While the one above is made for chevy pickups, I should think that with some modification (like maybe putting stake pockets or modifying how the thing attaches) I should be able to use this on the blazer. For winter running I was thinking about getting someone who does auto apulstrophy (sp?) to make a matching vinyl cover to go where the back window would go if the blazer was a pickup truck, effectively boxing off the areas that need to be heated to keep me from freezing to death. I figure that the frame on the tonneau linked above is square or round aluminum tube stock so I should be able to just cut it short to fit the length of the blazer bed.

Any thoughts, other than buying the $499 STC soft blazer tonneau? Keep in mind I'm a college student, and accordingly poor.

You could cut it, but you would have to adjust for the "space" at the front to let it tilt up. I am sure you could probably shorten it, but the upholstery shop I used to fix my Jeep charges a minimum of $65 for small repairs. I couldn't imagine what they would charge to cut and re-sew the whole top. Not to mention creating the rear hatch piece. Plus you would have to create a fixture to attach the rear "curtain" to. Posted a similar thread on CK5 and found a guy to sell me a descent vinyl tonneau with attaching hardware for $75 + ride, so with that money saved I might be able to get an upulstrophy shop to do the modifications otherwise one of my friends has family that owns an upulstrophy shop I might be able to get a discount there.
