3wd?????? Never heard of that. I know, you meant 2wd. White spokes look cool. So do stock rims painted black either with or without hubcaps. I like using rims without hubcaps so you can see the 8 lugs and that mean axleshaft sticking out of the rear tires.

Stock late model ralleys are an inexpensive choice with a clean look and nice looking caps & rings...
or there are some really high-dollar aluminum wheels out there for the unlimited budgets. Last edited by PICKMUP; 08-22-2004 at 03:02 PM. |

thanks guys! I am not into spending 2000.0 for a set of rims, but rallys just wont foot the bill, I guess I am leaning to a larger wheel and tire in the rear and a skinny up front, a hot rod look, know what I mean?
Kind of into the kragers ect.. But I am open to ideas, any pics of this set up on step side trucks? thanks again, I am loving this board |

I'll try to get some more pics. Not sure on the offset, just standard rallies. I don't like the fake plastic lug nuts that screw over the double threaded nuts to hold on the center cap, very cheezy IMO

I got just what you need-17.5 x 7's that came special-ordered on this old 'Burb I'm parting out. (I have the build sheet and they are listed on it). Problem is, I asked the guy at the tire store about tires that size, and I think it was the best laugh he'd had all week.

As for my signature, it refers to the fact that my Panel is stock except for wheels and seats-but I'm fixin' to start a frame-off resto and modest customizing. Thanks for the link-I think these would make good mudders, tall and skinny, for someone.
