body mod ?

the other day I seen a truck. It was a 70ish stepside. they flared the fenders out. on the front and back. looked good anyone else ever seen this done. also how do I go at building a tonnaeu for my 68 stepside.

Flaring the fenders is relatively simple but requires some extensive metalwork. It is still well beyond anything I have attempted so I cannot comment on the actual process. As far as building a tonneau they are very simple and I plan to build my own. Are you looking for a hard fiberglass type? or a soft vinyl cover? or a hard vinyl cover? If you've got a TIG welder or know anyone who does you can build one yourself quite easily.
