Can I swap a turbo 400 with my 350?

I have a burned up 350 with a 203 transfer case. Does anyone know if a 400 will swap? Something tells me that the 350 and 400 have different output shafts. Thanks

the turbo 400 has a 32 spline input your 350 only has 27 . so it will not swap

You will have to swap the input gear into the 203 to 32 spline and get a different adaptor, move the x-member back about 2-3'' and change the driveline lengths.

the best/easiest thing to do, is to just find a th400 that already has a 203 and adapter with it. or one with a 205, or whatever. but in any case...just get a complete tranny/t-case combo. all you'll have to do is drill new holes in the frame to move the crossmember back, and it'll bolt right in. you'll also have to have the driveshafts modified...front lengthened, rear shortened.
