I'm sure you know this, but 1969-70 used a different rearward seat bracket with the release lever on the bottom by the sill.

Yes sir.. just lost them as 69-72 since they work for all years and most prefer these. They are stronger allowing less flex of seat frame and most importantly the back passengers can fold seat without assistance
