Wheel backspacing??
i am in the process of getting some new wheels and tires for my truck. I have a 1971 short stepside 4x4. i plan to buy the 15x10 mickey thompson classic II wheels and the 33x12.50x15 BFG mud terrains. i have the 12 bolt 6-5.5 rear end and the dana 44 front. what would be a good back spacing for this tire wheel combo? i don't want them to stick out too far but maybe just out side the fenders. the truck will also be getting a 4'' lift soon after the new tires if that helps any.
Thanks in advance Tom |

Most are 3.5" to 4.25".

Stock 15X8 rallies are 3 1/2", so 4 1/2" would retain the factory offset. 4 1/4" would be fine.
