K5 Factory Jack

Can someone help out and post some pictures of the proper jack and accessories for 68 - 72 Blazer, and where they are stowed away? Thanks

Re: K5 Factory Jack

It is the same jack as the pickups. Go to the top of the page in the google box and click 67-72 Chevy trucks.com Put in Jack assy . If you want one that is similar . Ford and Chevy late model trucks look almost identical otherwise the forum has quite a few for sale.

Re: K5 Factory Jack

Here is the jack set up with rear seat equipment. If no rear seat, the spare tire and jack would move forward behind the driver's seat, but basically in the same orientation. The lug wrench and jack handle would be behind the driver's seat as pictured, though the double hook at the end of the spring should engage the jack handle. I have been working on a reproduction of the Jacking Instructions decal. You can see the arrangement in the illustration.

I believe its the same as a truck. Look on the truck classified side. You may get reprimanded for a wtb ad when you're not blue.......

Re: K5 Factory Jack

Old thread, but good info nonetheless

On a Posi-traction equipped Blazer, at least on a 1970, the jacking instruction decal is positioned low on the left wheel tub, and the large white limited slip diff warning decal is placed where the jacking instruction decal normally is.

Unrestored 1970 with rear posi:

Mine restored with rear posi:

1970 optioned with posi. Posi decal missing or never applied, but low position for jack decal:

Here is a 1969 not optioned with rear posi:
