Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!

Nice. Your truck has become my new hero. I am keeping the white steelie/white bumper/white mirror look and I think it looks so much better on a medium green truck than it does on a medium olive like mine. I see you kept your stock wheels. I came into a brand new set of 235/85/16's but was a little worried about mounting on 5 1/2" wide wheels, so I bought a set of 16 x 7's. What size tire are you running? I like the look. Tall and skinny but a little heftier than what came on it in the day.

Here is mine, '68 with a 250, originally a 292. The pictures are older but all the grandpa chrome and grab handles are gone now.

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!

no longer mine. This dates to 1990 when I traded it on a new Mustang. I tracked it for a few years after and learned it was stolen. Hopefully it was recovered in whole and that it remains. It had nearly every option minus tilt and buckets.

That’s actually a Custom trim level K10 if I’m not mistaken. Awesome truck!

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!

The k10 designation didn't come out until late 1970.

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!

I don’t think that is the case, unless I’m somehow misunderstanding what you are trying to say. The 4x4’s were first designated as K’s all the way back in the 1960 model year. In the 67-72 years there never was a K callout on the fender badges and such for the pickups. as a side note, all blazers got the K5 treatment regardless of 2/4 wheel drive.

Yeah i think i'm a little off on my explanation, but it has something to do with the " 4 wheel drive" emblem under the front marker lights. I use to know the reason but now i cant recall, i'm sure someone out there knows...
