As Leegreen said they went from 4 to 4.5 somewhere in the production years.

You can scroll down the list https://www.gm.com/heritage/archive/...formation-kits 48 up through what ever year and open up the vehicle info kits and on pre 60 or so they give a lot of detailed info on these trucks On the 48 you had to scroll down to page 55 of 65.

It looks like 51 and later had 16x4.5 wheels 48 had 16x4 and I can't find any thing on 49/50 or my eyes have gone bad.
