1971 - 72 1/2 ton brake master cylinder rebuild kits

Hey Guys ! I am looking for the GM part # for the non power brake master cylinder rebuild lit for the 1971 - 71 1/2 ton . I have this number 3995844 for the 1 ton and I believe they may be the same number. I just want to confirm. Also would like to know of a source other than E Bay.
Thanks Vic

Per the 5/79 parts book:

Unfortunately, that kit has been discontinued since 11/1990, so Ebay or a google search will be the few sources for it.

Thank you 1970CST Blazer for the response. I thought that was the case.

Re: 1971 - 72 1/2 ton brake master cylinder rebuild kits

I'm just curious about this, is pitting of the inside surface of the master cylinder inevitable, which would make this rebuild kit useless? Or is there something you do about that before installing the kit?
