Frame Idetification help?

Hey guys,

Going to be doing a lwb to short wheel base conversion on my Truck frame. Im not sure the truck year? Hoping its a 1/2 ton frame. Any help identifying it would be great! Thanks

Not definitive, but does it have 5 lugs and disc brakes up front?

Also, there should be some fairly large alfa-numeric partial VIN stamped into the frame by the steering box on the upper flat surface of the frame. It will ID the model year and plant along with the last six of the VIN. There could be another one where the drivers seat would have been, on the upper flat surface of the frame. On the passengers side of the frame about where the passengers seat would be there is a small part number stamp on the outer large flat surface of the frame.

6 bolt Wheels On The Front

No rear end

Drum brakes on front

Frame thickness is exactly 6”

6 bolt Wheels and drum brakes would be 1/2 ton 68-70
if it has power steering box
