Re: Front Axle assembly swap
No shock mounts need moved on the sqaure body front axles going into 67-72’s. Because your ‘70 was originally an open knuckle 44 axle, no steering mods are needed unless you are lifting. My 72 has a front 60 from an 89 can and chassis K30 converted to single wheel under it.
This axle is 100% bolt in, steering arm, shocks and all. I’ll post a pic if my truck in a bit.
