Anyone Ever Make A Quick Remove Tailgate Trunion?
I am wondering if anyone has ever made a quick release tailgate trunion mod. for easy removal of their gate. I have to R & R mine several times a year and it is getting to be a real pain. Thanx in advance for the help!

Thanx....I put the camper on and off when I want to go camping. I have it down to a science. I can get completely hooked up in 15 minutes and ready to roll. I just like having the truck handy without lugging an 11 1/2' Lance around to boot.

Lots of 73 up trucks had these from the factory....pretty sure they will bolt up if you can find some at the boneyard

My dad and I made the stock 72 trunion into a quick removal type. It's not that hard...
1st pic is the notch cut into the tailgate. 2nd pic is the trunion Chuck
