Does this 1968 Chevy C10 heater box hardware look correct?
I took the heater box out of the engine bay of my 1968 C10 non AC truck and this hardware is what was holding it to the firewall.
Does these look correct? One of the holes was missing a fastener also as there should be a total of 7 fasteners. So I am probably missing 1 speednut and 1 screw? I noticed there are two studs coming out of the firewall and that speednut in the pic was on one of them so maybe there should be two of these if it is correct? I am not sure which hole I took that longer screw out of. (That ground wire is for blower motor and I am not sure if that is original either. I think that star washer is from the ground wire. ) Last edited by HeavyHauler; 01-04-2025 at 07:16 PM. |

I think one of the bosses that the screws go through is thicker than the others. That is where the long screw goes. Yes two speednuts. That ground wire is the original for the truck blower motor.. .
