Medium Fawn interior paint for 1962 GMC

Has anyone found a good off the shelf match spray paint for the medium fawn interior paint for early 1960's GMCs? Anyone had luck getting a paint shop to make a batch and fill an aerosol can?

For a close match , No. Everything seems to be too gold. TCP Global has the exact color and puts it in spray cans . You can usually have the paint mixed at a local paint store matched to your interior and put in spray cans as well.

You will have better luck calling them. For local stores look for Automotive Paint . Calling works best

Have you tried Classic Industries, OER Brand? Lately I’ve been needing interior colors, an so far everything has been matching really good.m

Hey guys, on this subject- so I’ve seen posts where it says up to 63, the color is a solid Fawn Beige with NO metallic finish. But when I look under my dash in tight places, the original paint seems to have some metallic in it.. Can somebody clear that up once & for all? Could it be that in ‘63 that last few ‘63s were being sprayed with the new metallic 64-66 fawn color??…. Thanks for any info..

Like any hobby this one is full of keyboard commandos who, very like they do on Facebook, will pop on a post and answer it with some of the dumbest and most incorrect stuff sometimes - based on what they think and not what they know to be a fact. So, that said, Medium Fawn is the 1 and only shade and color name for 62-66 with Dark Fawn being added to 66 Chevy dashes and 66 GMC dash caps (sport trim option only) as a contrasting low-glare color. I have the codes for these from TPC Global if you need them

Yes! Thank you. Just needed to reassure my suspicion. That makes sense enough to me.
