Re: What does your board name mean?
Palf was a nick name i had when I first joined military because no one could say my last name. 70 step is the truck i had when I joined in 2002. I have a 70 again, just not a stepside this time.

An anagram of my own name. I use it wherever it hasn't already been hijacked by somebody.

Re: What does your board name mean?
When I used to race, my # was 6X.
When I "retired" from driving in real life and started racing online my handle was SicksEx. Some online racing leagues thought my name was an innuendo (and they were right) so I kept the "Sick" part and just added my last name. I've used that name for every forum I'm part of too.

Re: What does your board name mean?
An old timer once told me that I had a "Loud Chevy" after I pulled up next to him at a gas pump.

Re: What does your board name mean?
It started as my eBay handle in 2000 and is used across multiple sites. I thought it up from being a Canadian with a love for the Corvette. Ive owned several. 65 coupe, 66 roadster, 72 coupe, 2-75 coupes, 76, 81 & a 84. But my 1st vehicle was a 68 GMC 910 circa 1974.

Re: What does your board name mean?
Early 80's I was working at the Valmy Nevada Powerhouse. There was this fellow who was the spitting image of Ol Grizz in the movie Jerimiah Johnson and just about as well groomed. He wore an old, tattered, filthy long skirted sheep skin coat, and everyone referred to him as "Sheep Dip".. probably because he needed a delousing. I always thought it was comical that he actually answered to it. He was a pleasant fellow to work with. Can't say that I even knew his real name.

Re: What does your board name mean?
Well it isn't that I like two tone vehicles, I do but it dates back to the early 80s when our high school band of misfits got back together to jam one night, I was the guitarist and they all wanted to learn 867-5309/Jenny, by Tommy Tutone. I hated the song and resisted as much as I could. Ended up caving and we played it and it became our signature cover. And I got a stupid nickname to go with it. The guys still call me that, and I cannot help but smile when I hear the song.

Re: What does your board name mean?
When I first started the www thing I used daviscon, short for Davis Construciton. Ebay was my first internet venture and somehow daviscon was unavailable. I just wanted to get logged on with no thoughts of how long the future is. I tried several my old CB handle with no luck. I gave up and just grabbed the first thing that I could think of the wouldn't be taken and have used it everywhere since.
