conspiracy or happenchance?

We have outdoor sports shows here at state convention centers, water sports equipment one weekend or campers and motor coaches the other weekend, every year in Jan. It seems like, without fail, they each happen on bad weather weekends. It's either heavy rain or snow and ice those weekends. The shows are inside but I don't travel in bad weather unless absolutely necessary.
This weekend: Arkansas Marine Expo. Weather: 8 to 12 inches of snow on the ground so far... like clockwork!

Re: conspiracy or happenchance?

They have a "Cabin Fever Show" every year in Knoxville during the winter, usually January.
It's this weekend.
There is snow and ice predicted starting today (1/10) and continuing into tomorrow.

Re: conspiracy or happenchance?

Just saw a video of stuck cars and accidents just outside of Atlanta . What’s wrong with these people ? Everyone knows that the snow clearing equipment is not all that plentiful in the southern states . See it every time it snows down there .

Re: conspiracy or happenchance?

Sounds to me like Jan is a known bad weather time in your area and these people aren't figuring that out.

Re: conspiracy or happenchance?

To be fair they have outdoor shows here in January and February. When it gets warmer nobody is thinking about buying equipment they already have bought it . That and the fact it’s most likely cheaper to rent the space at this time of year .
