interior door handle - Drivers side door sticks
I have a 1996 GMC C1500 that I have owned for 15 years and have replaced the interior door handle three time and now looking at replacing again. When the handle is replaced it works as it should for two or three years then the door begins to stick when trying to open. At first it requires a small push with an elbow and progresses to requiring a full shoulder check to open the door. I have searched the forum and it appears to be a know problem.
It's not terrible to replace but would rather not this often. Is there an aftermarket part that will hold up longer ?

Re: interior door handle - Drivers side door sticks
If I remember right the tab the robs connect too are pretty soft, maybe even plastic and probably just waller out and get loose causing the issue. Don't know of any brand that seems to be better than one another. My sticky door opening issues normally were because the hinge/hinge-pins need replaced and the hinges are welded to the doors, so replacing them/adjusting them was expensive (too me) and a pain in the backside.
