Being the option sticker gets beat up, if I trim the outside of the paper document will I be able to remove it without damaging it ?

You’ll ruin it if you try to remove it.

Re: Option sticker on inside of glove box door

Don't remember right off but at one time a member here who's board name escapes at the moment used to make some very nice reproduced SIPD glove box stickers. Try doing a search for some related threads. Agree with trying to remove it intact, isn't going to happen.

It's more desirable to try to keep the original SPID. If it is too illegible, then by all means replace it.

Re: Option sticker on inside of glove box door

The guy I found is in Fontana Cali
I tried and it began to start to rip
I am going to try and polish the plastic and see if I can read the options
If not I am going to send the glove door and let them have at it.
I MAY try the heat gun as well

Re: Option sticker on inside of glove box door

Here is the pic of my original spid and I looked at the options sent back and lo and be hold he was able to decipher it with all the options I actually have on the truck.
He must use a NASA grade microscope to read mine
I'm amazed
I will add the completed sheet when I receive it

Re: Option sticker on inside of glove box door

There are several errors on that reproduction spid, I hope you didn’t pay for it yet.

As others have stated above, www.outintheshop.com makes perfect reproductions, I would recommend him and nobody else.

Re: Option sticker on inside of glove box door

For starters he can’t spell gauge correctly.
It should read black vinyl trim instead of just black.
Most words on the right side are cut off.

I’m sure there are more but that’s what I see right off the bat

That new spid has missing, and incorrect descriptions and is in the wrong order. I can read most of your original one

Re: Option sticker on inside of glove box door

"MEDIUM" is spelled wrong. Also, if I am not mistaken, 3/4T trucks come standard with power brakes, so I don't know if that option belongs on the SPID. "GAGE" should be spelled "GAUGE". There may be others, but those are the ones that jump out at me. There is a whole thread where many people have posted their SPIDs.

It would have been nice for the trucks to have option plates like the cars have. Riveted on, and people don't let their grandkids scribble on them.
