Quadrajet heat shield

Did the quadrajets come with a heat shield on the cast iron intake manifolds? If so can someone post a pic of one? And if there are any part numbers as well.

Thanks

Fel-pro 60731. My '72 Nova came with one. I don't have a pic, but it looks like a 4-hole Q-jet gasket, only made of thin stainless steel.

Got it http://www.pickproparts.com/pictures...partnum=60731% but I thought I saw a pic of a piece on a truck that went out past the carb. Like this one.http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...CA/108-69.html

I've got a factory one still in the package from GM. I think it was from a mid 80's trans am or camaro. I could get the part number if you need it. I'm sure it is still in my stash at my dad's house. It went past the carb

Well for the heck of it I called the local Chevy dealer and they actually found it. Part#3884576. THe catch is that in order to get one you have to purchase a qty of 2.

They gave me a price of like 9.00 each. But get this the guy said it was for a 69. Not a 68. I wonder if its the same part. If you can get a better price than let me know.
Thanks

Here is the shield I have from GM. Part number 3969837. I bought this about 15 years ago. It is for a quadrajet. I think the application was an early 80's Trans Am.
