71 leaf spring truck. Lowering questions, 2.5 wide leaf spring swap???

Hey all got basically the truck completely ripped apart to be gone thru. This truck was originally a long bed. I bought it shortened and I really need to go thru it, hence why it’s completely ripped apart lol.

Truck has 2.25” wide rear leafs.

I did just order Calvert mono leafs, cal tracs, and axle flip kit. The mono leafs are 2.5” wide, 52” length. So now I’m back pedaling as if I can get these 2.5” leafs to work with my current front and rear hangers.

Are there front/rear hangers I can run that bolt right up that allow 2.5” leaf springs? Like a k10 or something?

I really am hoping I didn’t jump the gun and order the Calvert kit I ordered

Someone let me know here, just kinda at a stand still and being overwhelmed with research lol

You can probably just narrow the bushing so they fit in the hangers. 1/4" off the sleeve and 1/8" off each side of the bushings.

The spring hangers on the two wheel drive and 4 wheel drive trucks are different heights. I’m not sure if the 2x4 Blazers had the narrow springs or not to source new spring hangers. The Longhorn 133” wheelbase trucks did have 2.5” springs so those hangers would work.

On my own truck, I kept the stock springs and ran a DJM flip kit with the CalTracs. FWIW, I used stock length front shocks on the rear and that worked great. The flip netted a 7.5” drop FWIW.
