Good catch, in any event. One of my sons had a '70 Dodge Dart that got sideswiped and totaled due to its age. We bought the salvage ($89, ) and fixed it ourselves. He had to have the brakes and lamps inspected to relicense it for the road. The shop that inspected the brakes didn't point out that the right front wheel cylinder was leaking, and improperly adjusted the front wheel bearings on the driver's side (left hand threads). He drove a long canyon road coming back from his university, and complained that it was all over the road. Those bearings were toast. I replaced all the front wheel bearings and wheel cylinders just before he went back north to school. I'd've had the "mechanic" roasting on a spit if my son had suffered any injuries from such shabby "repairs". This was at a state-licensed repair facility.
