seat restore product?

I have an original vinyl seat; it is in good condition. Besides the vinyl being a bit brittle and dry, does anyone know of a good product to bring the vinyl back to life?

Re: seat restore product?

I've had great luck in the past on my vehicles (note, I haven't ever had a 50+ year old vinyl seat so YMMV) with Griots products. Maybe give them a call and see what they suggest.

I'm sure others will have their recommendations as well.

Good luck with it! Definitely don't touch it with Armor-All 'protectant' which does just the opposite.

Re: seat restore product?

VRP vinyl, plastic and rubber. The guy who painted my truck recommended it, and oh boy, I do too. My dash pad that had some white, but now looks like new. Applied twice, last time nearly a year ago.

^^^ Ditto

Have not used it myself, but if you'd like yet another recommendation: I have a friend who does detailing for a living and he says everything Chemical Guys makes is great.
