one other thing i found while the dash was apart...


E-brake release cable. hanging on with just one wire. now i know why sometimes i would have to kick the e-brake up with my foot to turn off the e-brake light. no steep hill parking for a week or 2 till the new one gets here.
wife was commenting on all the parts i have had to swap out. told her, only in the truck for just shy of 11g's, and the lions share of it was for the truck, $7000 and the rims and tires, $2600.
pretty much every thing i've had to fix has just been maintenance or the p.o.'s shoddy work. have had zero probs with the motor, trans, t-case or diffs
